its cold at my desk
I took this picture by holding the camera with my chin against my chest! It gets kinda cold with the AC at work so I bought these gloves at Forever 21 to help my hands and wrists. They actually work pretty well! And the fleece jacket just stays under my desk since I have to put it on everyday.

I decided to take my folding chair out of storage and take it to work. I found this lovely spot overlooking the lagoon and lake in the distance today. This is a great option for the nicer days than sitting in the staff lounge. And this way I don't get my work clothes all dirty sitting in the grass!

I love that we live so close to Chicago. From this Metra stop it takes about 20 minutes to get to the station downtown. Hopefully this summer we'll be able to go to some of the museums and events.
