This beautiful silver Haynes flute was given to me by a friend of Aubrey's grandmother. It is perfect for me and just what I've been wanting. I hope to have it fixed up soon with new pads and a thorough cleaning. I see a new focus for next year!

Taking this pictures made me feel really nervous, from the height plus holding my camera over the railing. I get really anxious around heights and I took this picture from the 5th floor looking all the way down to the basement. It doesn't convey the height as much but I was really drawn to the repeating pattern.
